About

About Us

This initiative is made up of a big group of local churches who are committed to being “front footed” with the Gospel of Jesus in their Easter gatherings and on-going weekend gatherings. Jesus is our good news! While each church may have it’s own nuances in what we believe about social justice, politics, and other areas of life, we all agree with this statement of faith about who God is, what the Bible is, and what that means for our lives.

What is Easter in Conejo Valley?

Welcome to Easter in Conejo Valley! Because of the heaviness and divisiveness we’ve been through over these last two years, a group of us pastors from churches across the Conejo Valley want to do something unique.

Rather than each church inviting you to join their service, we want to partner together and invite you to join any of the churches represented here for Easter.

We’ve set up a tool on this website to help you find a few churches that are close to your neighborhood. That would be a great place to start!

Ultimately, our goal in this is to put Jesus first, and to do everything we can to help you get connected to a great local church.

We’re praying for you, and we look forward to seeing you this Easter!

Statement of Faith

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.

We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful people, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost. Those who are reborn will be in God’s presence forever and those who are not will be separated from him forever.

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
